Depart at 4:30 am from your hotel to Albrook airport from where a short flight (approx. 55 min) will take you at 6:45 am to the breathtaking Bocas del Toro region in Panama. Bocas del Toro offers its visitors unlimited coral reefs and incredible scenes of underwater life. A true explosion of colors and shapes that amaze even the most experienced and seasoned diver. It is one of these places with unique beauty both above and beneath the surface. When you arrive on Colon Island in Bocas del Toro there will be a guide waiting for you at the airport to take you to the dock. Once at the dock, the guide will arrange your trip by boat to Punta Caracol, an exceptional 15 minutes ride over the Caribbean Sea. Upon your arrival at Punta Caracol, you will be welcomed with a courtesy cocktail and then led to your cabin. It is up to you if you would like to take one of the many tours and activities offered by the hotel or spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge.

Free day to enjoy the diverse activities available, like touring the island by bicycle or motorcycle or taking a boat tour to some of the nearby beautiful beaches, keys, rivers and small barren islands, like for example the Zapatillas Keys. These two beautiful islands are located on a coral platform that is defined, toward the open sea, by the breakers that are formed as the wave’s crash on the reef. They are famous for their beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, coral reefs and small but shady forests. If you like to swim, snorkel or dive, this is the perfect place to go! The best of Zapatillas's underwater world is 300 meters from the beach, toward the mainland, the Coral Islands. The place is shallow with beautiful coral formations, particularly good for snorkeling. There, in no more than 20 feet of water, you can enjoy several underwater coral islets, refuge for snappers, angel fishes, groupers, parrots and butterfly fishes. A walk in the forest is also one of the activities that visitors like to enjoy.

Another free day to enjoy the area. You can for example visit the Cristobal Island and its Indians communities. The biggest village on the island is San Cristobal. The village grows vegetables (cocoa, yuca, rice) and farm animals (chicken, pigs), although the most important activity is fishing. The region of Bocatorito, in the northern part of the island, is a labyrinth of mangrove islets which create a lagoon scenery that fascinates the tourist due to its calm waters. This also the place most visited by dolphins in the entire Bay.

Another free day in this pristine setting surrounded by golden beaches, tropical rainforest, and an azure sea. Why not organized a hike in the rainforest to see the flora and fauna or go on a motorized canoe river trips to search for sloths and white face monkeys. Of course you may also choose to just relax at the lodge, go snorkeling and enjoy the Caribbean sun.

Enjoy your last morning in the Bocas del Toro region, have breakfast overlooking the crystal clear sea or dip into the ocean for a last swim. You can spend the morning visiting the town of Bocas to buy souvenirs and look at the beautiful Old Spanish Buildings. After lunch time, a guide will bring you to the airport for the 4:30pm flight to Panama City where your hotel transporter will await you to take you to your hotel. Enjoy the evening in Panama City. Your hotel is within minutes of the best shopping centers, fashion boutiques, cafes, restaurants, bars and night clubs.
BOAT TRANSPORT: 2:00 pm pick up by the Punta Caracol Acqua Lodge transporter for transfer to the airport.

Día 1, 2 & 7 - PANAMA CITY
Panama City is a city of easy cosmopolitan living, a delightful combination of the historic and the ultra-modern which offers a lively nightlife, and fantastic restaurants, but at the same time features historic buildings dating back to the 16th century. Founded in 1517, Panama City was the first city built on the Pacific Coast of the Americas. The Metropolitan Natural Park offers an amazing fauna and flora right within the city limits.

Día 3-6 - BOCAS DEL TORO
Bocas del Toro offers many incredible diving sites like "Coral Islands", "Cristóbal Light" on Cristóbal Island and other interesting sites. When the water is calm, it is possible to visit a shipwreck and a series of underwater caves behind Zapatilla Keys, as well as "Wild Cane Key", a rocky formation with a vertical drop behind Bastimentos Island.
Other attractions in the Bocas del Toro region include fishing, watching the dophins at Bahia de Los Delfines, bird watching at Swan's Cay, surfing at Playa Bluff, visiting the indigenous communities at Salt Creek or the cloud forest at Chiriqui Grande, exploring the banana farms at Changuinola and much more.

What to Bring
Panama City Region:
Panama features warm temperatures all year long between the mid 70's (mid 20's Celsius) and high 80's (around 30 Celsius.) However it's always good to bring a sweater or jacket for the evenings or windy boat rides and rain gear during the rainy season (May to November).
Bocas Del Toro Region:
Tropical fauna and flora at its best, but this also means warm and humid, so dress accordingly. Please make sure to bring the following: Mosquito repellent - Sunscreen - Hiking boots or good pair of tennis shoes - Bathing Suites - Rash guard for the water-sports people - Sun glasses
