Day 3-6 - SAN BLAS
Panama’s San Blas region combines beautiful beaches, deep blue waters, and excellent diving conditions with an interesting heritage of the Kuna people. The realm of the Kuna, Kuna Yala, an autonomous territory, is clearly one of the last unexplored outer limits of the Caribbean. 80% of the islands are uninhabited. The self-governing Kunas are zealously protective of their environment and way of life, one of the few pure races existing in the world. A people of great simplicity, pride and charm, they still conserve their traditions and beliefs foremost of which is "Gran Madre Tierra" or Mother Earth who guards, provides and keeps all in balance.

What to Bring
Panama City Region:
Panama features warm temperatures all year long between the mid 70's (mid 20's Celsius) and high 80's (around 30 Celsius.) However it's always good to bring a sweater or jacket for the evenings or windy boat rides and rain gear during the rainy season (May to November).
San Blas Region:
Tropical fauna and flora at its best, but this also means warm and humid, so dress accordingly. Sand flies or mosquitoes might be on the loose, so make sure to bring: Insect repellent - Sunscreen - Hiking boots or good pair of tennis shoes - Bathing Suites - Rash guard for the water-sports people - Sun glasses
