What to Bring
Costa Rica: At the Pacific Coast sunny days and cooler evenings await you, bring a sweater or jacket for the evening, but do not forget your sunscreen lotion! In the mountains and cloud forest it does get colder and rain showers are more frequent which makes for the lush green fauna. In the Central Valley, in which San Jose is situated, you will experience a mild climate and moderate temperatures for most of the year. The Caribbean Coast is caracterized by tropical fauna and flora at its best, but this also means warm and humid, so dress accordingly.
Please make sure to bring the following:
Mosquito repellent - Sunscreen - Hiking boots or good pair of tennis shoes - Rain gear - Bathing Suites - Rash guard for the water-sports people - Sun glasses
