Day 1: Belize City - Mountain Pine Ridge

Arrive into Belize City at (time to be confirmed) and be picked up by hotel transportation for transfer to Mountain Pine Ridge Area in the Maya Mountains… When staying at Hidden Valley Inn, adventures abound in the surrounding 300-square-mile Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve and amidst 7200 acres of private reserve. The Inn is surrounded by dozens of private waterfalls, miles of hiking and biking trails, bird watching opportunities, all in tropical and pine forests with the region’s most trusted and knowledgeable guides. Day 2: Mountain Pine Ridge (Free Day)

Free day to enjoy the various activities possible directly from the resort, where adventures abound in the surrounding 300-square-mile Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve and amidst 7200 acres of private reserve. The Inn is surrounded by dozens of private waterfalls, miles of hiking and biking trails, bird watching opportunities, all in tropical and pine forests with the region’s most trusted and knowledgeable guides. Day 3: Mountain Pine Ridge (Free Day)

Another free day to explore the Mountain Pine Ridge. For our recommended culture and adventure one day tours & activities from Hidden Valley Inn, please click here. Or spend your day visiting the many blissful Waterfalls in the area by mountain bike or foot. Even if you set out very early, a 12 hour day will allow you see maybe a quarter of these amazing sites, and considering you will probably want to swim and relax in each one of them, we feel you will have time for only 3 or 4. Please ask the hotel concierge of a list of waterfalls to visit, maps of the area, and their recommendation based on your interests and level of adventure sought. Don't forget to ask for a picnic lunch to take with you, or have the hotel staff arrange for a special lunch package to be arranged at one of the waterfalls. You are in for one of the most amazing days of you life.

Day 4: Mountain Pine Ridge - Peten (Guatemala)

Last morning to enjoy this amazing region of Belize. Depart 10:00 am to your beautiful Deluxe Eco-lodge nestled deep in the Peten jungle of Guatemala. Free afternoon to enjoy the many attractions the Peten Region has to offer. We recommend a half day tour of the romantic archeological site of Yaxha/Topoxte or any of the other sites Mayan ruins in the region based on your own interests or the advice of our local experts at the hotel. Peten also boasts the largest protected tropical forest area in Central America, whose area's amazing fauna and flora, lakes, rivers, lagoons, caves, etc. make it a perfect place to engage in all sorts of adventurous activities… Please visit our Recommended Tours Page for more details. Or you may simply choose to relax lakeside enjoying the natural sounds of the rainforest... Enjoy a lovely dinner at the lodge, or perhaps a visit of the charming village of Flores for dinner is a better option.

At 9:00 am, after a hearty breakfast, your expert guide will take you for a tour of the majestic archeological ruins of Tikal, one of the largest and most magnificent Mayan cities in existence. Your guide will share many insights on this Mayan city and provide a feel for the mysteries of this ancient culture. Enjoy lunch in the park and return in the afternoon to your hotel to freshen up and spend the evening at your leisure.

After enjoying your last breakfast lake side in the beautiful jungles of Peten, our driver will pick you up at 10:00 am to take you on a breathtaking cross country drive across Belize's lovely Mountain Pine Ridge area, and on to beautiful Placencia in the southern most pristine coast of Belize (approx. 6 hr drive.) Arrive mid afternoon and spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure in your deluxe ocean side resort, enjoying the hotel's amenities, where pristine white sand beaches, deserted islands and brilliant turquoise waters await. You will spend the next days enjoying some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world, fishing, and many other great tours and amenities offered at the hotel. There are also a number of mainland river and jungle attractions easily accessible from Placencia. Here imagine yourself swimming, diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, windsurfing... the brilliant turquoise waters of the Belize archipelago, made up of over 200 deserted tropical islands and coral atolls, where more than 70 types of coral and over 400 species of fish call these waters home.
