ROOM TYPES
Punta Caracol Suite : The five Punta Caracol Suites consist of two stories that together provide 50 sqm of interior surface and 25 sqm in its terraces, in addition to a platform at the water's surface with stairs to access the green, crystal clear waters surrounding it. The king size bed is located in the upper room, from where you can enjoy an incredible view of the bay through an ingenious window through the palm roof, while your two individual beds are in the lower room, with a bathroom.
Luna Suite: The three Luna Suites , besides all features mentioned above, have side halls that encircle them, bigger front and rear terraces, and also a hammock, hanging chair and a larger bathing / solarium platform.
Master Suite: The Master Suite is the most impressive architectural work at the Punta Caracol Acqua Lodge. Its exclusive octagon design confers it attractive, provocative and sheer spaces. It has about 100 sqm of interior surface, and over 60 sqm of outer terraces, it has side terraces and another terrace in the upper level, which gives it a spectacular panoramic view. The Master Suite comes with a king size bed in the upper room, and four twin (individual) beds in the lower room, as well as a hammock and hanging chair.
CUISINE
From a silk snapper in virgin olive oil and rock salt with rice and guandu made with coconut milk, to lobster stew or seafood paella, the philosophy that inspires Punta Caracol’s cuisine is founded on three concepts that are intimately linked: fresh cuisine, light cuisine and a healthy cuisine. The unequaled freshness of its seafood and fish guarantees an end product of the best quality for your table. Likewise, the vegetables and fruits come directly from the lodge’s organic garden and the High Lands of Chiriqui, known for their organic high cultures in volcanic earth. A variety of desserts, where you can find passion fruit cream, lemon souffle, our famous tropical fruit skewers and homemade brownies among others, will delight the lovers of good cuisine. Good wine and exotic cocktails complete this unique dining experience.
ACTIVITIES
You can choose from a fascinating selection of day tours - visit the numerous islands of the spectacular Bocas del Toro archipelago, ford rainforest rivers, visit native Indian villages, observe a variety of majestic sea birds at flight as well as the fascinating creatures of our luxuriant rainforests like the cute sloth and the scarlet red frogs-native only to Bocas. Dive or snorkel with the colorful fish in the coral reefs or spend some time fishing. Wherever you go, Bocas will reveal a surprising, relatively unknown marine world. You can also visit Bocas’ town to buy some handcraft and admire its afro Caribbean colonial architecture style or take a fly over the Archipelago in a small plane.
