ROOM TYPES
Superior Rooms: Most of these rooms are cabaña style, sharing a central garden/patio with a large plunge pool, two rooms count with a bathtub.
Junior Suites: One bedroom suite, large bathroom and a large terrace with plunge pool and a view to the gardens.
Deluxe Suites: Very spacious suite with a living room, a large bathroom and with a very ample terrace with plunge pool and a view to the gardens.
Presidential Suite "Casa del Patron": Ex bedroom of Hacienda owners and now the Presidential Suite consisting of a living room, a very extensive bedroom and a spectacular bathroom with a bathtub made of Ticul stone, ample garden deprived with a private swimming pool (the old cistern of the hacienda) and beautiful teak garden furniture to take sun and enjoy your privacy.
CUISINE
The Hacienda Temozon features the "Casa Principal" Restaurant, overlooking the breathtaking main gardens, the swimming pool and the old factory buildings. The menu proposes a blend of regional and international cuisine. Executive chef Christian Bravo will show you how to fully grasp the gravity of this emblematic cuisine. He elides nothing offering all his secrets and your culinary knowledge and skills will blossom under his guidance. The hacienda's cuisine will melt your heart.
Many of the ingredients used in the menu are organic and come from the gardens of any of the other haciendas of the group. Fresh-baked bread is "made at the hacienda" and the extremely fresh fish is broad in daily by the local fishermen you can find all along the main boulevard at the seaport of the city of Campeche. Ingredients first used by the Maya include corn, beans, tomatoes, peppers, squash, chaya (a Spinach-like plant), avocado and achiote (annatto). The Spaniards introduced citrus fruit-limes and Seville oranges feature in many dishes, chicken, beef, dairy products, coriander, garlic, olives, oregano and rice.
Once you arrive at the hacienda do not forget to ask your host for the "Romantic Dinner" arrangements, just imagine your dinner for two served in a perfect hideaway were the grounds are lit by twinkling candles overlooking the ancient city walls. The hotel can also take care of regional romantic music arrangements.
ACTIVITIES
Surrounded by major archaeological zones and colonial villages (Uxmal, Chichen Itza, Mayapan to the lesser known sides of Oxkintoc, Kaba, Sayil and Labna), natural reserves (the rare Pink Flamingos in Celestun and Ria Lagartos), the cenotes or sink holes and the caves of Loltun or Calcehtok, Hacienda Temozon is the perfect place for cultural trips. A tennis court, mountain bikes and horses are available, and hikes can also be organized.
