There's always something fun, exciting, or relaxing to do at Hacienda San Lucas, like horseback riding tours, to and from the town of Copan, along the river, or up into the hills to tour villages or the San Rafael organic coffee finca. Hike the nature trails to spectacular views of the Copan Valley, the ruins, and the town of Copan. Enjoy a soothing soak in the hot springs at the Lunar Jaguar Spa or visit the hacienda’s on-site ruin Los Sapos, the mysterious Mayan ceremonial site whose true purpose still confounds archeologists. Enjoy fantastic birdwatching (with nearly 390 species identified to date), and the exotic butterflies, in the exuberant, lush tropical forest or visit the Macaw Mountain Bird Park & Nature Reserve, just a 15 minute drive from the hacienda. • Cancellations must be made in writing 45 days prior to arrival date (60 days for Christmas/New Year and Easter reservations) for full refund, subject to any cancellation fees that may be charged by the hotel and the administrative fee identified herein below. If cancellations are not made in writing within 45 days (60 days for Christmas/New Year and Easter reservations), penalties may be equal to the total invoiced amount (hotel terms will apply.)
