Meson Panza Verde was established in 1986 as one of the first European style bed and breakfasts in Antigua, Guatemala. Ideally located at the quiet end of famous Fifth Avenue, it is a pleasant four block walk from Antigua's main Plaza and Cathedral down a cobble stone street past wonderful ruins and several delightful shops. The inn has nine lovely suites and three double rooms. There is an inviting central garden and fountain surrounded by a veranda that is "quintessential" Antigua. Our restaurant is considered one of the finest in the country. Its reputation for "international cuisine with a twist" has made it a favorite with Guatemalans and international travelers alike.

AMENITIES
• Nine suites and three double rooms. Each room has its own personality and is decorated with Spanish colonial antiques, antique mahogany doors, polished hard wood floors, built-in cedar closets, hand-made textiles and weavings and original art. The suites may have turn of the century chandeliers found in Cuba, raised jacuzzi beneath a cupola ceiling and decorated with marble tiles, Spanish balconies, fireplaces, cozy bathrobes and fresh flowers. All rooms have cable TV.
• A library/bar with a large, medieval fireplace and a small stage showcasing a baby grand piano where live Latin Jazz or classical music concerts are held every Thursday and Friday night.
• Rooftop rose garden and terrace also including a "tower top" jacuzzi with a spectacular 360 degree view of Antigua, many ruins and the three sublime volcanoes.
• An inviting lap pool fed by a fountain

An elegant restaurant with fine French and international cuisine in a romantic ambiance amid an exceptional collection of fine wines, original paintings, art objects and a vaulted cathedral ceiling. You may also choose to dine alfresco on the veranda surrounding the garden and fountain. In-room dining and room service also available.

If cancellations are not made in writing within 45 days, penalties may be equal to the total invoiced amount (hotel terms will apply.) All cancellations received at any time will be charged $50 US administrative fee.
