Travel by vehicle to the banks of the La Passion River, and then take a boat across the river to visit Ceibal. Ceibal is also considered “The Mayan Art Gallery” because of its well-preserved stellae. Topoxte & Yaxha: These two important Mayan archeological sites are located on Yaxha lagoon. Upon arrival board a “cayuco” (motorized canoe) to visit Topoxte located on an Island located in the Lake. This has recently been restored to show how the Maya lived and protected themselves on the Island. After lunch, transfer to Yaxha considered to be the largest city of the Maya world.
