A family of howler monkeys lives nearby and visits the Lodge every night stimulating guests with their loud roars. From the Main Lodge winding paths lead down the slopes to the secluded guest casitas each furnished with beautiful Guatemalan furniture and fabrics. The Rainforest Casitas have a view of the surrounding forest and partial view of the lake, while the Lakeview Casitas offer a breathtaking panorama of the lake. A short walk takes you down to the lake where guests may choose to swim in the cool pristine waters or go fishing with a knowledgeable guide. ROOM TYPES
Rainforest Casita: Nestled in the forest with a partial view of the lake, these duplex-style Casitas feature native furniture, arts and crafts, queen size bed, and a comfortable private bathroom. Outside, enjoy a covered deck with hammocks and comfortable chairs. Two Rainforest Casitas are now available with air conditioning. This room accommodates a maximum of 3 adults but cannot exceed 3 guests in total.
Lakeview Casita: A large deck with hammocks and chairs provides a comfortable setting for views of the lake and rainforest. Each Casita features an extra large bedroom with queen-size bed and large marble tile bathroom. Antique Balinese and Guatemalan artwork and furniture throughout. Be prepared for visits from the friendly howler monkeys that come right up to the edge of the decks. The duplex-style units have shared decks which are separated by privacy curtains. This room accommodates a maximum of 4 adults but cannot exceed 4 guests in total.

• Cancellations must be made in writing 45 days prior to arrival date for full refund, excluding any cancellation fees that may be charged by the hotel and the administrative fee identified herein below. If cancellations are not made in writing within 45 days, penalties may be equal to the total invoiced amount (hotel terms will apply.) All cancellations received at any time will be charged $50 US administrative fee.
