This is an excellent way of enjoying Tortuguero's natural wonders, quietly navigating throughout its network of rivers, lagoons and canals. There are 3 different jungle kayak tour options: from 2 days & 1 night to 4 days & 3 nights. First day and last day are the same on all options, but depending on the length of your stay you will have some more opportunities to do some extra paddling. After this trip, we guarantee you will have a whole new sense of adventure, and have had the opportunity to enjoy jungle in a way that just a few have been able to discover.

KAYAKING PACKAGES

One night packages include:
• Boat ride through the Braulio Carillo National Park
• Passing through banana plantations in the Suerte River
• View of lush forest with its amazing flora and fauna whilst paddling down the Tortuguero River

Two night packages include:
• All services included in the one-night-package
• Possibility to visit any of the canals that are rarely visited by tourists as these are difficult areas to get in by motor boat
• Option to take one of the scheduled boat tours
• Time to relax in the hotel's surroundings, including the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and nature trails; or take leisurely walks at the beach in front of Mawamba
• During turtle nesting time between July-September an optional night tour for turtle watching is available.

Three night packages include:
• Services of the two-night-package
• Visit of the Caño Palma which offers amazing views

• Entrance fees to National Parks and Reserve: $10.00 per person • Turtle Night Tour (during season): $30.00 per person • Alcoholic beverages, sodas or bottled water. • Items of personal nature • Tips or Gratuities • Optional breakfast or lunch box (should you not wish to eat at the lodge): $6.00 per person + tax • Additional charges such as telephone, laundry, restaurant, and bar must be paid at checkout time

Additional Information:

• Group minimum size: 2 people / Group maximum size: 12 people • The maximum luggage weight permitted on the small boats is 25 pounds per person • Prices per person in USD • Kayaking Packages are not suitable for children under 12 years • Departures are available at any day of the week.

Reservation Terms:

• Prices nor availability or rooms or booking are guaranteed until payment is received
• Payments accepted via Wire Transfer, Check or Credit Card
• A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 45 days prior to arrival date (60 days for Christmas/New Year and Easter reservations).
• Cancellations must be made in writing 45 days prior to arrival date (60 days for Christmas/New Year and Easter reservations) for full refund, subject to any cancellation fees that may be charged by the hotel and the administrative fee identified herein below. If cancellations are not made in writing within 45 days (60 days for Christmas/New Year and Easter reservations), penalties may be equal to the total invoiced amount (hotel terms will apply.)
• All cancellations received at any time will be charged a minimum $100 US administrative fee.
