Xunantunich and Barton Creek
This active trip combines canoeing/kayaking and cave exploration through Barton Creek Cave with a visit to Belize's second largest beautifully excavated Maya City - Xunantunich. Our expert guides provide keen insight into the world of ancient Maya civilization, leading our clients on an unforgettable tour. Within the last 5 years, intense archeological work has revealed and preserved the ancient structures once hidden beneath the jungle floors. Today visitors have the privilege of climbing El Castillo, which at 130 ft. above plaza level, is the second tallest man made structure in Belize. 360-degree panoramic views from El Castillo offer a remarkable vantage point revealing the Ancient Macal River Valley and neighboring Guatemala. After enjoying a healthy lunch, we continue to Barton Creek Cave in Amish territory. Equipped with canoes/kayaks and high-powered lights we gently paddle into Xibalba, Maya for underworld. Stalactites and Stalagmites hang high overhead as we float past impressive calcite crystals. Our knowledgeable guides will discuss the use of this cave by the ancient Maya, while some artifacts can be seen high above the alcoves. For the free spirited adventurers, the option for excellent swimming in the far chamber is a treat. Great mud baths to cleanse your skin is an added option.

Che Chem Ha Cave and Falls
Chechem Ha Caves sits in the Maya Mountains, deep in the rainforest of the Vaca Plateau. The cave is considered one of Belize's premier cave destinations to visit, with rich archeological finds inside. Archeologists believe that the Maya used this place for ceremonial purposes some 2000 years ago. On this fascinating journey through time you will see the many chambers and artifacts used by the ancient people of the underworld. Later, a home cooked meal prepared on a fire hearth will satiate your appetite, and then enjoy a short hike to Chechem Ha Falls. This waterfall tumbles 200 feet in the jungle creating a refreshing swimming pool at the bottom.

Lamanai Ruins / Jungle River Adventure
This full day adventure takes you around the island of Ambergris Caye, over to the mainland of Belize, up into the old Northern River, to the village of Bomba where your van ride awaits to take you along the unspoiled Pan American Highway. Then board the riverboat for a leisurely tour of this unexploited wonderland of nature's best flora and fauna. Arriving on the shores of the New River Lagoon, you shall enjoy a wonderful lunch of Mayan influence. An exploration afterwards takes you along nature paths to various temples as you explore the ancient Mayan city of Lamanai, which is surrounded by pristine rainforests.

Altun Ha / Maruba Jungle Spa
This full day adventure takes you around the island of Ambergris Caye, over to the mainland of Belize, up into the old Northern River, to the village of Bomba where your van ride awaits to take you along the unspoiled Pan American Highway. Explore the ancient trading post of Altun Ha, where you shall learn about the Mayan way of life. From there travel by land to the incredible and famous Maruba Jungle Spa, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy swimming in a freshwater pool, explore the jungle on horseback, savor a wonderful lunch or for an extra charge, pamper yourself with amazing spa treatments!

Belize Zoo & Cave Tubing
Enjoy a boat ride along the barrier reef and through different cayes while traveling to the Belize River, where you shall take a thrilling ride through downtown Belize City to Manatee Outpost near Ladyville. There your private air-conditioned van is waiting to transport you to the Belize Zoo where you will enjoy the view of over 100 different species of Belizean wildlife. Afterwards, you will embark on an unforgettable adventure into the dense rainforest of the Sibun Caves Branch area. River tube through the sacred Mayan caves system and explores streams and rainforests to your hearts' content. Cave Tubing is an incredible tour that travels to the mainland to the Caves Branch region. This area is mountainous and full of caves and caverns. Upon arrival at The Jaguar Paw Jungle Lodge, we start a 40-minute walk through the jungle to the mouth of the largest cave. Here, we sit upon a large rubber Doughnut and start an incredible 2-hour journey on a slow moving river inside the mountain. Equipped with a headlamp, we drift along under large cathedral ceilings, bat caves, waterfalls and small rapids, all inside the mountain. The tour ends back at the jungle lodge, ready for lunch or cocktails.

SNORKEL TRIPS
Manatee & Snorkel
Make your way through the cayes as you head to the secluded Swallow Caye outside of Belize City, which is a natural habitat for the West Indian Manatee. They are very rare and endangered Manatee and frequent many coastal areas of Belize, and this tour will take us to the heart of their breeding and feeding areas. It is illegal to swim with the Manatee however, can take pictures and view the elusive and shy Manatee from the confort of the boat. From there, visit the small but quaint island of Goff's Caye where you will have an opportunity to snorkel right off the beach and enjoy a tantalizing barbeque. Continue your adventure with a walk around the neighboring island of Caye Caulker and then finish off at another snorkel site called 'The Aquarium' where you will have to opportunity to snorkel with the sharks and stingrays! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the last of the Manatees in its natural environment.

Hol Chan & Shark/Ray Alley Snorkel Expedition
Spend a half-day exploring the walled channel of Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Snorkel trips to Hol Chan Marine Park are very popular, as the marine life is incredible. Here you will swim among corals, caves, and fish that abound in this pristine underwater location. The boat will be swarming with reef fish, stingrays and Nurse sharks within minutes of arrival and they will accompany us throughout. Also, Moray Eels, Turtles, Eagle rays, Dolphins and occasional Whale Sharks are spotted, dependant on season. A very safe site for children and nervous snorkelers.
On your second stop, experience the thrill of snorkelling with docile nurse sharks and southern stingrays at Ambergris Caye's very own version of Cayman Island's Stingray City.

Fly Fishing

Basil Jones
Full Day of Diving Start your day at 8am. Cruise along the north reef of Ambergris Caye. Make your first dive of the day at Sandy Point; a well known dive site, up north, for the incredible tunnel formations. This dive starts off at about 50' at the entrance of the tunnel and slopes down to a max depth of about 100'. Once you surface you are welcome aboard with purified drinking water, a fresh tray of fruits and snacks. Spend your surface interval on board while cruising to your second dive. Your second dive of the day is at Basil Jones Canyons where the reef meets with the land at Ambergris Caye. The majestic canyon formation stretches out about 70'-100' to the east, in between grooves which slopes to 100'+ into the blue. After your second dive, it is lunch time, where we come to shore at Basil Jones. You are served your lunch spread while you enjoy the peaceful sound of the waves crashing onto the reef. After lunch you have a short time to relax on the beach before you get to your last dive. Your 3rd and last day for the day is a Mata Rocks Canyons; A slightly shallower dive site, popular for the abundance of queen conchs on the sandy area, which typically attracts eagle rays and nurse sharks. Return back to your hotel around 4:30-5:00pm.
