The Lodge at Chaa Creek Adventure Centre, Rainforest Reserve and Spa, has pioneered natural history travel to Belize since 1981. As a private 340-acre nature reserve set along the banks of the Macal River in the foothills of the Maya Mountains, the lodge has provided a unique rainforest experience for thousands of people while maintaining an unspoiled ambience. The jungle lodge is comprised of 18 comfortable palm-thatched cottage rooms, two garden suites, two treetop suites, and an orchard villa, nestled along the riverside in a setting of unmatched beauty and tranquility. Guests can interact with nature by exploring the river and miles of well-maintained trails, Mayan temple sites, and through activities such as hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, mountain biking and bird watching. Wildlife abounds, and some 250 species of birds have been sighted within the reserve. After an active day on the reserve guests can enjoy a tranquil and extraordinary sensory experience at the lodge’s spa.

• 18 comfortable cottage rooms for single, double or triple occupancy
• Each palm-thatched cottage has Mexican tiled floors, large mahogany beds, original artwork and private bathrooms with hot showers. Spacious sundeck verandahs allow guests to view wildlife and interact with nature.
• The Honeymoon Sky Room, the Treetop Jacuzzi Suites, and the Garden Jacuzzi Suites are perfect accommodations for a romantic get-away or honeymooners. Packages see below.
• Conference Centre with a light and airy atmosphere for up 50 people seated at conference tables or 100 people seated auditorium-style. It is equipped with a P.A. system with microphones (including cordless), a television with VCR, overhead projectors and slide projectors, a multi-media projector for Powerpoint presentations, and a copy machine. The Conference Center is also suitable for parties, weddings and other events.

CUISINE
The lodge's cuisine features a mixture of Caribbean, Mexican and Belizean dishes served under an enormous umbrella of thatch in the large, airy restaurant with its own temperature controlled wine cellar. The dining room, bar and cottages are all constructed from local hardwoods and thatched with bay leaf palm.
ACTIVITIES
A range of activities including hiking, swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, bird-watching, guided nature walks and river trips are available, and the Reserve's Natural History Centre and Butterfly Farm are within easy walking distance of the cottages. • 50% of invoiced amount is required in order to confirm reservation, balance due 45 days prior to arrival
• Cancellations must be made in writing 60 days prior to arrival date for full refund, excluding any cancellation fees that may be charged by the hotel and the administrative fee identified herein below. If cancellations are not made in writing within 60 days, penalties may be equal to the total invoiced amount (hotel terms will apply.) All cancellations received at any time will be charged $50 US administrative fee.
